We are delighted to thank Georges Duboeuf for this delightful surprise wine which spiced up the exciting evening. It received positive reviews from everyone present.
In the words of Lisa-Perrotti Brown, "It had the soft, silky tannins of Grenache and more of an earthy, gamey character then you find on most Gamay. Because it was 2003, the acid wasn't as crisp either as is typical of Beaujolais. And I thought it had quite a spicy character. A real treat."
